The PhD programme spans 4.5 years and is designed to train scholars for advanced research roles in academia, public institutions, and the corporate sector.
Candidates will be able to specialise in 11 management areas, including Agri‑Business Management, Decision Sciences (OR / Statistics), Finance & Accounting, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management, Information Technology & Systems, Economics & Business Environment, Business Sustainability, and Communication.
Eligibility Criteria:
A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC / ST).
Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent four-year degree) with a minimum of 75% (70% for SC / ST) or Professional qualifications (such as CA, ICWA, CS) with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Candidates holding a full-time PGDM from any IIM (minimum CGPA 6/10) or the PGP‑WE (working executives) from IIM Lucknow (CGPA ≥ 6) are also eligible.
Selection Process:
Shortlisting for interviews will be based on valid scores from CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF/SRF (UGC / CSIR / ICAR) exams. Only scores from these exams taken on or after 1 January 2024 will be considered.

Financial Support:
