The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the admit cards for the 2026 Second Grade Teacher Recruitment Examination. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment drive can now download their hall tickets from the commission’s official website ahead of the examination scheduled to begin on July 12.
The recruitment examination will be conducted from July 12 to July 18, 2026, across multiple centres in Rajasthan. The commission had earlier issued the Exam City Slip on July 5, informing candidates about the city allotted for their examination centre. With the release of admit cards, applicants can now access detailed information regarding their examination schedule and venue.
Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official RPSC website and logging in using their application number and date of birth. The admit card contains important details such as the examination date, reporting time, shift timing, examination centre and instructions that candidates must follow on the day of the test.
According to the commission, the examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR answer sheets. Arrangements have been made across 34 districts of Rajasthan, and nearly two lakh candidates are expected to participate in the recruitment process.
The release of admit cards marks a crucial stage in one of the state's major teacher recruitment drives. Aspirants have been awaiting the examination after months of preparation, with the recruitment offering a significant number of vacancies in the education sector.
The RPSC Second Grade Teacher Recruitment initially announced 6,500 vacancies when the notification was issued on July 17, 2025. However, the number of posts was later increased substantially. The commission is now conducting the recruitment process to fill a total of 9,651 teaching positions across various subjects and categories.
Officials have advised candidates to carefully verify all details mentioned on their admit cards and ensure they carry the required documents to the examination centre. Entry to examination venues will be permitted only after proper identity verification and adherence to the prescribed guidelines.
The selection process for the recruitment will be conducted in three stages. Candidates will first have to appear for the written examination. Those who qualify will be called for document verification, where educational qualifications, category certificates and other required records will be scrutinised.
The final stage of the recruitment process will involve a medical examination before the appointment of successful candidates.
With thousands of teaching positions on offer, the recruitment drive is expected to strengthen staffing in government schools across Rajasthan. Education sector observers believe the recruitment could help address teacher shortages in several districts and improve the student-teacher ratio in state-run institutions.
As the examination dates approach, candidates are being encouraged to download their admit cards well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. They have also been advised to reach their designated centres within the reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket.
Further updates regarding answer keys, results and subsequent stages of the recruitment process are expected to be announced by RPSC after the completion of the examination schedule.
