ISRO VSSC Releases Admit Cards for Various Posts; Exam Scheduled Soon

The Indian Space Research Organisation’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has released the admit cards for the upcoming recruitment examination for multiple technical and administrative positions. Candidates who applied for the VSSC various post exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website. The development provides clarity on the schedule for thousands of aspirants seeking jobs in one of India’s premier space research establishments.

The examination, slated to be conducted later this month, will be held at designated centres across multiple cities. The admit cards, published online on Friday, contain crucial details including exam date, time, venue, and candidate instructions. The VSSC has advised all candidates to download and print their admit cards well ahead of the test day to avoid last-minute issues.

According to the official notification, the hall tickets can be accessed using the application number and date of birth on the VSSC recruitment portal. Candidates are required to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government-issued photo identification to the examination centre. ISRO officials have emphasised that entry will not be permitted without these documents.

The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies across a range of positions including technical assistants, draughtsmen, and administrative staff. VSSC, headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, regularly conducts such examinations to augment its workforce in support of various space missions and research programmes.

This examination attracts a high volume of applicants each year, reflecting the organisation’s reputation and the competitive nature of securing a position. The admit card release marks a significant milestone in the selection process, moving candidates one step closer to the written examination and subsequent rounds of assessment.

For many aspirants, receiving the admit card relieves the uncertainty that typically accompanies recruitment timelines. One candidate, while declining to be named, said the prompt release of admit cards has helped finalists focus on exam preparation. “Knowing the date and centre now allows us to plan travel and revise the syllabus thoroughly,” the candidate added.

ISRO’s notification also includes a helpline contact and email for candidates facing difficulties in downloading their admit cards. Aspirants are urged to check their details carefully and report discrepancies to the recruitment cell immediately.

The VSSC exam is expected to be held in late February, with results and further selection stages to be announced in the weeks following the examination. Successful candidates will join various ISRO units involved in satellite development, launch vehicle design, and related space technologies.
