UP Police Recruitment 2025 for 30,000 Posts Soon

Recruitment of bumper posts is going to be done soon in Uttar Pradesh Police. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced to fill 30 thousand posts in the police department soon in a public meeting. In such a situation, the youth dreaming of a government job in the police department should speed up their preparations from now on. Let us tell you that through this recruitment, the vacant posts of Police Constable, Sub Inspector and Jail Warder will be filled.

Number of posts

Through this recruitment, 4543 posts of Sub Inspector (SI), 2833 posts of Jail Warder and 19220 posts of Police Constable will be filled.

Eligibility and criteria for joining the recruitment

To apply for UP Police Constable and Jail Warder posts, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed 12th class from a recognized board. Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years. According to the upper age group, 22/ 25/ 28/ 31/ 34 is prescribed.

Apart from this, to fill the form for SI posts, it is mandatory for the candidates to be graduates from a recognized university / institute. Also, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years and maximum age 28 years. Candidates coming from reserved category will be given relaxation in upper age.

Physical Standards
The minimum height of male candidates coming from General, OBC and SC category should be 168 cm. Along with this, the chest of the candidate should be 79 cm without inflating and 84 cm with inflating. The minimum height of candidates coming from SC category is 160 cm. Along with this, the chest should be 77 cm without inflating and 82 cm with inflating.

Physical criteria for SI posts

Height of male candidates of General, OBC and EWS category should be 168 cm and chest 79 cm (84 after expanding 5 cm). Height of male candidates of SC category should be 163 cm and chest 77 cm (82 after expanding 5 cm).

Apart from this, height of female candidates of General, OBC and EWS category should be 152 cm and weight 40 kg. Height of female candidates of SC category must be 147 cm and weight 40 kg.

Minimum height for female candidates
For physical test, the minimum height of candidates from other categories coming from female category has been fixed at 152 cm. The minimum height for female candidates coming from ST category has been fixed at 147 cm.
