The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced recruitment for 1,251 Livestock Extension Officer (LEO) posts in 2026. The online application process is scheduled to begin on September 9, 2026, and eligible candidates will be able to apply until September 29, 2026.

1,251 Posts Announced

Selection Process

The selection process will begin with shortlisting through UP PET 2025. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently appear for the Mains Examination.

Candidates who qualify the examination will proceed through document verification, following which the final merit list will be prepared.

The recruitment process therefore requires applicants to meet both the preliminary shortlisting requirement and the prescribed qualification for the Livestock Extension Officer post.
