Organised by Bachpan Play School and Academic Heights Public School (AHPS), the national-level dance championship brought together participants from different parts of India across various Solo and Group Categories.
ABCD has now entered its fourth season, with this year’s competition being made more expansive, dynamic and inclusive than ever before. Children and young participants between the ages of 4 and 18 years were given a national platform to showcase their talent, confidence and creativity. The grand finale witnessed impressive performances featuring exceptional choreography, expressions, technical skills, innovative props, attractive costumes and outstanding synchronisation.
A major highlight of the event was the special presence of renowned dancer and choreographer Melvin Louis. As a member of the prestigious judging panel, he evaluated the performances of the young participants and further encouraged them with his presence.
Participants from Across the Country Secure Top Positions
In the Bachpan Groovers – Solo Category, Anika Tripathi (Bachpan Katni, Madhya Pradesh) secured the first position. Amayra (Bachpan Mahendragarh) and Bhumika Kumar (AHPS Nagpur) jointly secured the second position.
In Junior Rockstars – Solo Dance, Manvi Nakhate (AHPS Nagpur) emerged as the winner. Tippaarthi Anvi (AHPS Champapet) and Arnav Jain (AHPS Satna) jointly secured the second position.
In the Senior Swaggers – Solo category, Vidhi Goyal (AHPS Nagpur) emerged as the winner, while Prabhas Raman Pradhan (AHPS Belangiri) and Pariyal Jain (AHPS Satna) jointly secured the second position.
The specially curated Mom Superstars category also witnessed enthusiastic participation. Jyoti (AHPS Palwancha) secured the first position, followed by Anjali (Bachpan Mahendragarh) in second place and Vidhi (AHPS Sumerpur) in third place.
The Golden Groovers, Golden Rockstars and Golden Swaggers categories, designed for participants who are not part of the franchise schools, further broadened participation in the competition. Dhaamika, Aniya and P. Mahesh Reddy respectively secured the first positions in these categories.
Outstanding Teamwork on Display in Group Categories
In the Junior Rockstar – Group category, the team from AHPS Karad secured the first position. AHPS Chinchwad secured the second position, while teams from Rewari secured third-place positions.
In the Senior Swagger – Group category, the Maharashtra team secured the first position. Teams from Morena, Madhya Pradesh and Chinchwad, Pune jointly secured the second position, while the team from Pitampura, Delhi secured third place.
The group performances showcased impressive choreography, synchronisation, teamwork and stage presence, generating tremendous enthusiasm among the audience.
Participants who delivered outstanding performances were recognised with cash prizes for securing first, second and third positions across various categories.
More Than a Competition — A Platform for Talent and Confidence
The objective of ABCD 2026 goes beyond providing children and young participants with a competitive platform. It aims to inspire them to recognise their talent, step onto the stage with confidence and express their creativity.
This initiative by Bachpan Play School and Academic Heights Public School brought together young talents from different parts of the country on a common platform, giving children an opportunity to develop discipline, confidence, expression, creativity and stage presence through dance.
The grand finale at Rishihood University, Sonipat once again demonstrated that India has immense young talent across cities and regions. What these young performers need is the right platform, guidance and opportunity to showcase their abilities.
With this vision, ABCD 2026 provided young talents with a national platform where they did more than just dance — they brought their dreams to life on stage.
