Taran Adarsh Calls It Superhit
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has already described the film as a “super-hit”, pointing to its strong performance after the opening weekend and Monday.
He highlighted the film's ability to maintain momentum despite competition from Hanuman Ansh. According to his assessment, both films have been able to attract audiences without significantly affecting each other's business.
Discounted Tickets Boost Footfall
The film's Tuesday performance was expected to receive an additional boost from a discounted ticket offer.
Adarsh noted that the offer could increase footfalls and potentially help the film register another strong weekday collection. The strategy comes as the film attempts to maintain its pace after a powerful opening weekend.
Ali Fazal Leads Mirzapur World
Mirzapur The Movie brings the popular franchise to the big screen, with Ali Fazal reprising his role as Guddu Bhaiya.
The film also features original franchise actors including Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Sheeba Chaddha and Shweta Tripathi, while actors such as Ravi Kishan and Jitendra Kumar join the cast. The story follows Guddu's ambitions to establish his control over the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.
What Comes Next
With ₹125.60 crore already collected in India, the next target for Mirzapur The Movie will be to sustain its weekday performance and strengthen its worldwide total.
The film's five-day figures indicate strong audience interest, while its “super-hit” status from trade analyst Taran Adarsh adds to the momentum surrounding the release. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film is now positioned for another important stretch as it enters the second week of its theatrical run.
