During a Fox News interview, Stephen Miller — Deputy Chief of Staff under Trump — praised Prime Minister Modi but sharply criticized India for purchasing Russian oil, accusing the country of “financing this war in Ukraine.” He warned that “all options are on the table” including diplomatic and financial measures. Miller also called it “astonishing” that India is now “basically tied with China” in buying Russian crude.
Recently, Donald Trump's advisor Stephen Miller has accused India of indirectly funding the Ukraine War by purchasing oil from Russia. Miller said that the Trump administration does not agree with India's move and wants India to stop buying oil from Russia. However, India has already made it clear that it will continue to buy oil from Russia.
US President Donald Trump announced 25 percent tariff on India in recent times. Following this unilateral decision of Trump, there is tension between the two countries in business relations. Meanwhile, Trump's top advisor Stephen Miller said a surprise on Sunday.
In fact, he made a big allegation during an interview, saying that India is indirectly funding the Ukraine war through buying oil from Rousse. He even said that this is not acceptable to Donald Trump. However, India has already made it clear that oil will be continued to buy oil with Russia.
