The nearly three-minute video, broadcast by Iran’s state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), reportedly opened with an English-language graphic asking, “Where to kill Barron Trump?” The broadcast has prompted scrutiny from US security officials, although the Secret Service has not publicly disclosed whether it has determined that the footage represents a credible or specific threat.
A Secret Service spokesperson said the agency was aware of the video and was examining material that could be perceived as a threat against people under its protection. The agency did not provide further details, citing operational security concerns.
