India-US Seal Nuclear Deal After SCO Summit

After Modi-Putin-Jinping meet at SCO, US President Trump announced a major nuclear technology pact with India.
The 50% US tariff on India has distanced India from America and brought it closer to China. Recently, the Modi-Putin-Jinping duo at the SCO Summit has created a stir in the world. On the other hand, seeing the Modi-Putin-Jinping duo, President Donald Trump's attitude has also softened. As a result of this, a big deal has been done on nuclear technology between India-US. This agreement was signed in Washington DC in the presence of officials of the US Department of Energy and the Indian Embassy. This will greatly benefit India's nuclear energy sector.
Flowserve Corporation of America and Core Energy Systems Limited of India have signed an important agreement. Under this, primary coolant pump technology will be brought to India. This agreement is expected to give new impetus to India's nuclear energy sector.
This agreement was signed in Washington DC in the presence of officials of the US Department of Energy and the Indian Embassy. It has the approval of both the US Department of Energy and the Indian Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Nagesh Basarkar, Chairman and Managing Director of Core Energy Systems Limited, said, "We have set an ambitious target of achieving 100 GW of nuclear capacity by 2047, while we are currently around 8.2 GW.
