Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Again, Opens Fire on IB in Jammu

Escalating tensions, Pakistan breached the ceasefire not only at the LoC but also along the International Border, targeting the Paragwal sector in Jammu. Indian forces responded firmly to the unprovoked aggression.
After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India is in action mood against Pakistan. Even after this, Pakistan i.e. Terroristan is not stopping its petty acts. Pakistan, which has been breaking the ceasefire on LoC for the last several days, has now broken the ceasefire on the International Border as well. Pakistani soldiers have opened fire on the International Border in Paragwal sector of Jammu. The Indian Army also took charge and gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. PAK violated the ceasefire for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday-Wednesday night.
After the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, activities have intensified in many sectors of LOC. The Indian Army is keeping a close watch on the situation and an operational alert has been issued in the border areas.
Pakistan has been continuously breaking the ceasefire for the last six days and firing with light weapons throughout the night. However, on Wednesday, Pakistan has worsened the situation further. It has now opened fire on the International Border in Paragwal sector of Jammu. Defence sources say that till Tuesday morning, the Pakistani army was violating the ceasefire only on the Line of Control, but now on Wednesday night it has opened fire on the international border in Paragwal sector of Jammu, after which Pakistan has worsened the situation.

Pakistan is now seen active in the Paragwal sector (international border). The deployment of BSF has been increased here and vigilance has been tightened. A total of 209.8 km of IB is spread from Akhnoor to Lakhanpur.
On the night of 29-30 April, Pakistan fired across the Line of Control in Naushera, Sunderbani and Akhnoor sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani army posts have fired this firing with small arms without provocation. The Indian Army has not used artillery guns and air defence guns so far as only small arms firing is being done from Pakistan side. Apart from this, unprovoked firing of small arms has been reported from Pakistan Army posts across the Line of Control in Baramulla and Kupwara districts and also across the International Border in Pargal sector. The length of the LoC in entire Kashmir is 343.9 km. While in Jammu region, 224.5 km of the border falls under the LoC.
