PM Modi invites Japanese manufacturers to ‘Make in India’

PM Narendra Modi urged manufacturers in Japan to come to India and produce for the world, highlighting opportunities under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Speaking at the India Japan Economic Forum, PM Modi invited Japanese manufacturers to Make in India. Speaking at the forum, PM Modi said that you come to India, we make products in India and make them for the world (Come Make in India, Make for the World).
'Capital does not increase in India, it increases manifold'
Addressing the India-Japan Economic Forum in Tokyo, Prime Minister Modi said that Japan has always been an important partner in India's development journey. From metro rail to manufacturing, semiconductors to startups, Japanese companies have invested more than $40 billion in India. He said that capital does not just increase in India, but it increases manifold.
India is a fast growing economy: PM Modi
He said that today India has political stability, economic stability, transparency in policies and predictability. Today India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. And very soon it is going to become the third largest economy in the world. He further said that behind this change in India is our approach of reform, perform and change.
