Tensions are at their peak between South Asian countries Cambodia and Thailand. Both countries are firing on each other's territory on the border. Two people have died in this firing.
A Thai army official said that at least two Thai soldiers were injured in a border clash with the Cambodian army on Thursday. After this, tensions between the two neighboring countries have increased rapidly.
Thai army deputy spokeswoman Colonel Richa Suksuanont said that the Cambodian army has used a variety of weapons, including BM21 rocket launchers, in clashes in disputed border areas.
