The long-awaited dream of Bihar’s cricket fans came true on Sunday as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the newly built International Cricket Stadium in Rajgir.
Spread over 90 acres, the stadium is now the second largest in India after Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Built at a cost of around ₹1,121 crore, it meets all international standards set by the ICC and BCCI. The pitch uses high-quality black soil from Pune.


The project’s initial cost was estimated at Rs740 crore, but it rose due to the inclusion of modern facilities and additional structures
