 The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 is set to commence in June after a five-year hiatus. Pilgrims can choose between two routes: Lipulekh Pass and Nathu La Pass. Learn about the journey details, registration process, and health requirements.

The Ministry of External Affairs has announced the names of the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims through the lottery system. 5 batches of 50-50 pilgrims will leave between June and August. This journey was stopped in 2019 due to Kovid and India-China relations. It was agreed to start it again in October 2024.

. After five years, Indian pilgrims will once again be able to go on a pilgrimage to Mansarovar from June this year. After the agreement already made between China and India in this regard, on Wednesday, the Ministry of External Affairs announced the names of the lucky travelers through the lottery system.

The Ministry of External Affairs has informed that a total of 15 batches of 50-50 pilgrims will leave for Mansarovar Yatra between June and August. Out of these, five batches of 50-50 pilgrims will go to Mansarovar via Lipulekh, while 10 batches of 50-50 pilgrims will leave from Nathu La route at different times. It has also been told that both the routes have been made accessible by car to a large extent, so the passengers will have to travel very little on foot.

Names drawn through lottery system

In a program here, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh announced the names of the selected passengers through a lottery system. The Ministry of External Affairs claims that the lottery system is computer based, which is completely transparent.
