Indore, which has been on the top position in cleanliness in the country for eight consecutive years, has now gained popularity at the international level. Delegations from many countries have come here to know the secrets of Indore's cleanliness. This model of Indore's success was seen by a joint delegation of Latin American countries Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Guatemala during a two-day visit.

The joint delegation arrived to know the methods of garbage management
It is interesting for them to know how such an environment of cleanliness has been created in the city where heaps of garbage used to be on the roads eight years ago. This model of Indore's success was seen by a joint delegation of Latin American countries Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Guatemala during a two-day visit.
The team members reached the trenching ground
On Tuesday, the team members reached the trenching ground, where they inspected the plant that makes CNG from garbage. The officials told them that earlier there were mountains of garbage here, but now there is greenery. The delegation asked questions to the municipal officials to understand the garbage management methods of Indore.
They also came to know about the door to door garbage collection system, reuse of unused items and the methods of using treated water coming out of the sewage plant. Indore's cleanliness model reflects maximum cleanliness at minimum cost.
This model is being considered ideal not only in the country but also abroad. So far, more than 850 delegations from more than 40 countries have come to Indore and learned the lesson of cleanliness from here.
