'America's thinking is to remain safe':Mohan Bhagwat said

On Sunday at a book launch event in Delhi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat said the challenges faced by India and other nations are rooted in a global system developed over the past 2,000 years, which, according to him, is based on a 'fragmented vision' of growth and happiness.

He said India should take necessary steps to deal with the recent tax and duty on imported goods by the United States and the increased fees for H-1B visas, but cautioned against moving forward 'blindly.'

Bhagwat said: America's thinking is to remain safe

Met a prominent person from America three years ago. They talked about the possibilities of India-America partnership and cooperation in various fields including security, counter-terrorism, and economy, but every time they reiterated that 'provided American interests are protected

Calling for a long-term approach, Bhagwat stressed that India must carve out its own model of development, guided by an 'eternal perspective' of progress and harmony, to avoid recurring crises.

RSS Chief said, Only India has fulfilled all its commitments on environmental issues. And who else has? Because there is no authenticity. If India wants to become a world leader and a friend to the world, it has to carve its own path based on its perspective.
