In this entire case, the police have arrested the doctor of the IVF center along with 10 other people. Along with this, the police have also seized the medicines, letters and other medical equipment available in the clinic. It is being told that the main accused in this case has been identified as Athaluri Namrata, the owner of Universal Srishti Fertility Center.
Know how the scam was busted
According to the information shared by the police, the case was busted when a couple lodged a complaint. In the complaint, the couple told that Rs 35 lakh was paid to the IVF center to have a child through surrogacy. At the same time, it was told in this complaint that the couple has made several payments in the last 9 months, after which it was found that the DNA of the newborn born through surrogacy does not match their DNA at all.
When the couple suspected this, they lodged a complaint with the police. On the basis of this complaint, the police started investigating and it was found that the main accused Dr. Athaluri Namra was doing a large-scale surrogacy and fertility scam through her IVF centers.

In this investigation, the police found that the real parents of the child are from Assam and they live in Hyderabad. The police said that the child was taken from the real parents of the child by paying money and handed over to this couple. At the same time, when the complainant suspected about the child, he got the DNA test done, which did not match. After this, this scam was exposed.
