COVID-19 Cases Surge in India, Active Tally Crosses 2,700
Sharp Rise in Infections; One State Reports Highest Number of Active Patients
India is witnessing a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases, with active infections surpassing 2,700 nationwide. Health authorities have identified one state as the current hotspot, recording the highest number of active patients. Citizens are urged to stay cautious and follow safety guidelines.
Corona is spreading its tentacles in India once again and the number of corona cases is increasing continuously. Amidst the increasing cases in countries like China, Singapore and Hong Kong, there is an atmosphere of fear about Covid-19 among the people in India too.
These days, not one or two but four variants of corona are active. The total number of active cases of corona in the country is 2710. 511 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Along with this, 255 people have also recovered from corona.
If we talk about death due to corona, then seven people have also died. From January till now, 1710 people have also recovered by defeating corona. At the same time, a total of 22 people have also died so far. Corona infection is being seen in different states of the country.
In India, the highest number of cases have been reported from Kerala. The total active cases in Kerala are 1147. Maharashtra is at number two, where the total active cases are 424. The total number of active cases in the country's capital Delhi is 294.
