The Delhi Sharks emerged victorious at the DAVe BABA VIDYALAYA Tamil Nadu Open Trios Tenpin Bowling Tournament 2025, held at Let’s Bowl, Thoraipakkam, Chennai. The event was hosted by the Tamil Nadu Tenpin Bowling Association (TNTBA) under the aegis of the Tenpin Bowling Federation (India).

In a gripping final played in the Baker format over two games, the Delhi Sharks — comprising Dhruv Sarda, Palguna Reddy, and Sunil Sharma — edged past Strike Syndicate Chennai (featuring Soban D, Ganesh N.T., and Gurunathan) by a narrow margin of 12 pins (375–363) to claim the championship title.

The path to the final was full of intense competition. Strike Syndicate Chennai secured their spot with a 403–369 win over Triple Threat Chennai, while Delhi Sharks overcame Chennai Thunder Strikerz 364–357 in another closely fought semifinal.

Among the notable performers, Delhi Wolves impressed with a strong 7th-place finish. The duo of Kushal K S (875 pins) and Mehul Popli (758 pins) stood out with consistent performances. Youngster Kushal K S especially emerged as a rising star, demonstrating exceptional skill and composure throughout the tournament.

Incredibowls Mumbai narrowly missed out on a semifinal berth by just 8 pins, highlighting the fiercely competitive nature of this year’s event.

This year’s tournament witnessed participation from 36 teams across India. A total of 18 bowlers averaged above 200, while Anand Babu (929) and Dhruv Sarda (900) crossed the 900+ series mark — clear evidence of the growing excellence and depth in Indian tenpin bowling.

The 2025 Tamil Nadu Open Trios once again celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship and showcased the expanding talent pool within India’s tenpin bowling circuit, reinforcing the country’s steady rise in this precision sport.
