India will soon have hypersonic glide missile', DRDO chief said

DRDO chief Dr Samir V Kamat confirmed ongoing tests of India’s hypersonic glide missile, stating that one developmental trial has been completed and full induction is expected in 2–3 years
These days the war between Iran and Israel is going on in which hypersonic missiles are being used especially. At the same time, the Indian weapon system was successful during Operation Sindoor, now India also wants to have a stockpile of hypersonic missiles so that the enemy thinks a hundred times before looking at India.
The work of hypersonic glide missile is in the testing phase
During Operation Sindoor, India defeated Pakistan and damaged the enemy's airfield, drones and air defense system. The head of DRDO said that India will also have hypersonic glide missiles soon. The work is still in the testing phase.
India is not behind in the development of hypersonic missile
According to NDTV, DRDO chief Kamat said that India is not behind in the development of hypersonic missile. Last year, DRDO tested a long-range hypersonic missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
Dr Kamat talked about the hypersonic missile system and said that the agency is developing hypersonic cruise missiles, which means missiles that can travel at hypersonic speeds continuously.
India to have hypersonic glide missile in a couple of years
The DRDO chief said that the hypersonic glide missile is in a very advanced stage. We have done a development test and we hope that in the next two to three years we will complete all the development tests and then it will be inducted.
