Jagdeep Dhankhar seeks bungalow in Lutyens Delhi after resignation

After stepping down as Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar has requested a government bungalow and is likely to get accommodation soon in Lutyens Delhi.
Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has requested the government to allot a bungalow after resigning from the post. He has written a letter to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs demanding government accommodation. Currently he is living in Abhay Chautala's farmhouse. The ministry is considering allocating a bungalow in Lutyens Delhi soon but the final decision is yet to be taken.
Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has demanded the government to allot a bungalow about one and a half months after resigning from the post.
Sources said that the former Vice President has written a letter to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs requesting to provide him suitable government accommodation.
Decision will be taken soon
The former Vice President shifted from VP Enclave to a private farmhouse located in Chhatarpur area of South Delhi last week. This farmhouse belongs to Indian National Lok Dal leader Abhay Chautala. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has not yet allotted any bungalow to the former Vice President. A decision will be taken on this soon.
Where can the bungalow be allotted
Sources said that Type-8 bungalow number 34 on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in Lutyens Delhi is ready and it can be allotted to the former Vice President, but no final decision has been taken in this regard so far.
Sources said that if he refuses, the ministry can provide him another residence. Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President on July 21 citing health reasons.
