A shocking case has come to light from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Here a drunk lover tried to jump on the pyre of his 19-year-old girlfriend. This incident happened on Monday evening at Shanti Ghat of Kanhan river under New Kampati police station. According to the police, the girlfriend of the young man had committed suicide. The person who jumped into the pyre was beaten badly by the people present on the spot.
This incident happened at 4 pm at Shanti Ghat on the banks of Kanhan river. According to the information, the 19-year-old girlfriend was very depressed about her love affair and due to this she gave up her life. As soon as her lover 27-year-old Anurag Rajendra Meshram got this news, he reached Shanti Ghat and tried to jump. The people of the victim's family caught him and beat him fiercely. At the same time, this young man became unconscious due to the beating, who was then admitted to the hospital. The condition of the young man is said to be critical. The police have been informed about this.

Further action related to the attack on Meshram will be taken after he is medically fit to give a statement. Eyewitnesses said that when the last rites were being performed, a young man arrived and tried to jump into the river.
