PM Modi’s Stylish Entry in Maldives

PM Modi has reached Maldives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Maldives directly after finishing his UK tour. This is PM Modi's first visit to Maldives after the coming of President Mohammed Muizzu's government. President Mohammed Muizzu warmly welcomed PM Modi at the airport when he reached the capital Male.

PM Modi's swag was seen as he arrived to attend the 60th Independence Day celebrations of Maldives as the chief guest. The Prime Minister made a dhamakedaar entry wearing black glasses. President Muizzu welcomed the Indian Prime Minister by hugging him.

Along with President Muizzu, his cabinet was also present at the airport to welcome PM Modi. These included the Foreign Minister of Maldives, Defense Minister, Finance Minister and Homeland Security Minister were also present to welcome PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 60th Independence Day celebrations of Maldives as the chief guest. This is the Prime Minister's third visit to Maldives. This Maldives visit of PM Modi is the first visit of a foreign head of state after President Muizzu took power in Maldives. This visit is also important during the tenure of Mohammad Muizzu government because it is happening for the first time after the tension in the relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Modi's last visit to Maldives was in June 2019.

The people of the Indian community living in Maldives are very excited about PM Modi's visit. A person from the Indian community said, 'PM Modi is coming here today and we are excited to welcome him. I have been living here for the last 24 years. For me, Maldives is like a second home.
