Rahul Gandhi’s life in danger? Congress MP’s lawyer withdraws petition after dramatic claim

A fresh twist emerged after a Congress MP’s lawyer claimed Rahul Gandhi’s life was in danger. The petition filed in court was later withdrawn, raising questions over the circumstances and the details of the matter.
There has been a new twist in the case of Rahul Gandhi's life being in danger. His lawyer, who claimed the life of the Congress MP to be in danger, has now withdrawn the petition from the court. In fact, Rahul Gandhi's lawyer Milind D. Pawar had filed a petition in a Pune court for security, saying that his life is in danger.
Rahul Gandhi's lawyer said that it is a clear, logical and concrete apprehension that I (Rahul) may be harmed, implicated in false cases or targeted in other ways. The complainant's family has a history of violence. History should not be allowed to repeat itself. He gave this statement in the context of Mahatma Gandhi's assassination.
Rae Bareli MP's lawyer Milind D. Pawar had said in the petition that Rahul Gandhi's security has increased due to the political issues he has raised recently and the comments he had made on Savarkar earlier. The complainant in this case is a direct descendant of Nathuram Godse. History should not be allowed to repeat itself. Along with this, he also mentioned the alleged threats received from BJP leaders Ravineet Singh Bittu and Tarvinder Singh Marwah.
Rahul Gandhi's lawyer Advocate Milind D. Pawar issued a press release admitting that the persus filed on August 13, 2025 was prepared by him without the instructions and consultation of the client. He said that Rahul Gandhi has disagreed with its contents and directed to withdraw it. Pawar announced that he would withdraw the persus by filing a formal application in the court.
