Three Decades of Impactful National Service

Since the early 1990s, at a time when awareness around learning disabilities was extremely limited,  Rajeev Bhatt has been at the forefront of creating sensitivity and understanding around:

Dyslexia (Learning Disabilities)

 Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

 Autism Spectrum Conditions

 Other learning and developmental diversities

Through nationwide initiatives under the vision of “One India – Inclusive India,” he has led:

 Sensitisation and awareness workshops

 Parent counselling programmes

 Teacher training modules

 Community outreach and empowerment initiatives

His work has played a key role in reducing stigma and promoting scientific, compassionate approaches to disability and inclusion.

Author of Influential Works on Autism and Dyslexia

Bhatt is the author of two highly regarded books, Understanding Autism and Understanding Dyslexia, which present complex subjects in simple, scientific, and empathetic language.

Understanding Autism highlights early indicators, behavioural patterns, sensory needs, learning styles, and real-life family challenges, reinforcing the belief that autism represents human diversity rather than deficit.

Understanding Dyslexia breaks long-held myths and provides practical classroom strategies, Individualised Education Plan (IEP) frameworks, and clear guidance for educators and parents.

The collaborative work of co-authors further strengthens the academic depth and credibility of these publications.
