Saudi Minister Adil Aljubeir Holds Talks with S. Jaishankar in India

The talks focused on reducing tensions between India and Pakistan. Aljubeir's visit to New Delhi is taking place at a time when the tense relations between India and Pakistan have worsened further. This situation has arisen after the targeted attacks by the Indian Army on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir.

Dr. S. Jaishankar informed in a post on social media that he had a positive meeting with Saudi Arabia's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adil Aljubeir this morning. In this meeting, he shared India's vision of strongly combating terrorism.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in New Delhi at midnight last night, amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan. Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, while talking to him face-to-face, made it clear that India's aim is not to worsen the situation further, but if there is any military attack on India, it is ready to respond with full force. Araghchi will also meet President Draupadi Murmu this afternoon.

Indian armed forces retaliated to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam by carrying out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases on Tuesday and Wednesday night. These include Jaish-e-Mohammed's headquarters Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's hideout Muridke.
