Youth detained for raising 'Murdabad' slogans at CM Rekha Gupta's program

There was a ruckus at the event of wholesale garments dealers organized in Gandhinagar, Delhi, when a youth suddenly started raising slogans of "Murdabad" on the arrival of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. This youth wearing a yellow kurta also got into an argument with the traders present on the spot. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the police took immediate action and took the youth out of the venue and took him into custody. At present, the police is interrogating him. It is not yet clear what issue the youth was protesting against.
There was a ruckus during a program organized in Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency, when a person started sloganeering in the middle of Arvinder Singh Lovely's address. The person has been identified as Praveen Sharma, a resident of Ajit Nagar, Gandhi Nagar. 60-year-old Praveen Sharma has a TV cable business in the area. He has claimed that he has been a BJP worker for the last 40 years. According to the information, as soon as Arvinder Singh Lovely was giving a speech from the stage, Praveen Sharma reached there and started shouting slogans in strong protest. He also said that his voice should reach Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
According to the police, 60-year-old Praveen Sharma is a resident of Ajit Nagar in Gandhi Nagar and does TV cable business. He has claimed that he has been a BJP worker for the last 40 years. During the sloganeering, he was constantly saying that his voice should reach the Chief Minister. Police said that Sharma was standing in the street behind the barricades and shouting slogans. He was immediately caught and removed from there. Police say that during this time there was no lapse in VIP security and neither was there any breach of security at any time. At present, the police have questioned Praveen Sharma and the matter is being investigated.
It is worth noting that after the attack during the public hearing, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta appeared in a public program for the first time. During this time, tight security arrangements were made. Heavy deployment of Delhi Police and CRPF personnel was done in Gandhi Nagar market and surrounding areas.
Actually, during the public hearing held at the official residence in Civil Lines, Delhi, a person named Rajesh Bhai Khimji Bhai Sakaria attacked him. After this, CM Gupta's security has been tightened even more and CRPF personnel have been deployed round the clock.
