Rajiv Pratap maintained his dominance in the Constitution Club elections, securing victory, while BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan faced defeat.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy has maintained his 25-year-old dominance in the management of the Constitution Club. He defeated his fellow BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan in this fiercely contested election. Many big leaders including BJP's Amit Shah and Congress' Sonia Gandhi took part in this election. He said that it is a beautiful experience.

Rudy won by more than 100 votes
Amid celebrations by his supporters, Rudy told reporters after midnight that he had won by more than 100 votes and his panel members, who were from different parties, had also registered victory.

Rudy five-time MP
Current Secretary (Administration) Rudy, who is a Lok Sabha MP for the fifth time, faced a tough challenge from Balyan, a two-time Lok Sabha MP, but won by a big margin. Officials said that out of a total of 1,295 present and former MPs, over 680 valid votes were cast, making it one of the highest ever polls in the election of office bearers of the club.
Besides Amit Shah and JP Nadda, several Union ministers including Piyush Goyal and Kiren Rijiju and Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla also cast their votes as the candidates lobbied hard to mobilise their supporters.
