Congress MLA Arif Masood's College Recognition Revoked Over Document Irregularities

The government has terminated the recognition of Indira Priyadarshini College located in Khanugaon of Congress MLA Arif Masood from Bhopal's central assembly constituency. The Higher Education Department has canceled the continuation for the year 2025 with immediate effect. The interim recognition of the session 2025-26 has been withdrawn by the Higher Education Department. This college belongs to Congress MLA Arif Masood from Bhopal Central area.

This college was given temporary recognition in May 2025, but the department's investigation revealed that the necessary documents and conditions were not fulfilled by the college. Also, many irregularities were also found during the inspection. On these grounds, the department has issued an order to cancel the recognition. At the same time, the future of hundreds of students now seems to be in limbo due to this decision.

Arif Masood said that this matter is pending in the High Court after the cancellation of the college's recognition. The college has been investigated twice and the renewal process was also completed. Despite this, the cancellation of recognition seems to be completely unfair and malicious.
