Patna is witnessing a flurry of political activity following the NDA’s decisive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. Since Saturday morning, several leaders have been arriving at the Chief Minister’s residence, including Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Chirag Paswan, and other senior party figures.
The Janata Dal (United) has called all its MLAs to Patna ahead of a legislative party meeting scheduled for tomorrow. JDU National Executive President Sanjay Jha arrived with the list of winning candidates, and newly elected MLA Shyam Rajak from Phulwari also visited the CM House.
JDU leaders have made it clear that Nitish Kumar remains the undisputed Chief Ministerial face. Shyam Rajak stated, “There is no alternative in Bihar. Nitish Kumar is the only trusted leader.” He added that the swearing-in date will be decided by the Chief Minister himself.
Earlier, BJP leader Vinod Tawde had indicated that all NDA constituents would hold discussions to finalize the next Chief Minister. However, the JDU has reinforced Nitish Kumar’s position, leaving no ambiguity over the leadership.
Several leaders visited the CM House over the day, including Chirag Paswan, Vijay Chaudhary, Sunil Kumar, Manish Verma, Arun Manjhi, Engineer Shailendra, JDU State President Umesh Kushwaha, Krishan Kumar Mantu, Lalan Singh, Sanjay Jha, Shyam Rajak, and Nitin Naveen.
