CJP to March on Sept 5 Over Unfulfilled NEET Promises

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced a fresh youth mobilisation in Delhi on September 5, accusing the Centre of failing to fulfil commitments made to protesters during negotiations in July over the NEET-UG controversy.

The planned peaceful march will begin at India Gate and proceed to the New Delhi Police Headquarters. CJP says the demonstration will be led by families of deceased NEET aspirants and people who allege they were subjected to police action during the July 20 “Sansad Chalao” march. Students and young people from across the country are also expected to participate.

The announcement comes after the party's national working committee reviewed the status of commitments it says were made by the government on July 25.

September 5 March Announced

CJP announced the march after concluding that several of the assurances given during the July agitation had not been implemented.

The organisation said it had suspended its earlier movement after trusting the government's commitments, but now believes that sufficient progress has not been made.

The September 5 demonstration is being described by the party as a peaceful protest march rather than a resumption of the earlier indefinite agitation.
