With this, the Congress made it clear that the Congress is contesting the assembly elections in Bihar not to fight but to win. The AICC observers appointed by party president Mallikarjun Kharge will monitor the assembly election strategy and organizational work in Bihar. Congress contested 70 seats in the 2020 elections in Bihar. In this, it won 19 seats. Similarly, Congress won 27 seats in the 2025 assembly elections.
