Congress suffers another setback in MP, 280 people join BJP including 2 retired Additional SPs

In Madhya Pradesh, Congress faced a major blow as 280 people, including two retired Additional SPs, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, further strengthening BJP’s hold in the state.

The political uproar after the appointment of Congress district presidents in Madhya Pradesh is not taking the name of stopping. After the resignation from the post and the burning of the effigy of PCC chief Jitu Patwari, the situation has reached to leaving the party. In this episode, Congress has received a big jolt in Raisen district of the state.

In fact, many leaders and workers of Udaypura assembly of Raisen district have joined BJP. These include 280 people including Congress block president of Udaipur assembly Rajesh Upadhyay. All have joined the ruling party BJP. Two retired additional SPs are also included in those who joined BJP.

Apart from this, Congress, BSP and other political people are also included. All have taken membership of the party in the presence of state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, general secretary Hitanand Sharma, minister Narendra Shivaji Patel. All were welcomed by wearing saffron gamchha.
