In a crucial development, BJP and NPP legislators have jointly submitted their claim to form the next government in Manipur, escalating political maneuvering as the state awaits the Governor’s decision.

 
 

NDA MLAs have started the exercise to form the government again in Manipur. Meanwhile, the MLAs of BJP and NDA parties have reached the Rajya Bhavan in Imphal and met the Governor. The MLAs who met the Governor include 8 from BJP, 1 from NPP and an independent MLA.

The exercise to form the government in Manipur has intensified once again and meanwhile the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has met the Governor at the Rajya Bhavan, staking claim to form the government.

10 MLAs of the BJP-led NDA have reached the Rajya Bhavan in Imphal with a claim to form the government and have met the Governor. These 10 MLAs include 8 from BJP, 1 from NPP and 1 independent MLA.

Wrote a letter to Amit Shah

Earlier, 21 MLAs had written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah urging him to form a 'popular government' to ensure peace and normalcy in the northeastern states. The letter was signed by 13 BJP, 3 NPP and two independent members.
