Eknath Shinde Questions Rahul Gandhi's Stance Amid Israel-Iran Conflict

Amid the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde sparked controversy by questioning Rahul Gandhi's stance, asking if he aspires to win the Nishan-e-Pakistan award.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has slammed Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha for his comments after Operation Sindoor. He questioned Rahul that he is speaking Pakistan's language. Does he want Nishan-e-Pakistan award?

Speaking on the foundation day of his party Shiv Sena on Thursday, Eknath Shinde said that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, Prime Minister Modi gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. Our army destroyed the terrorist bases operating there. Till date, no government had ever given such a reply to Pakistan. But this is not the hand of Congress, but the hammer of Prime Minister Modi.

Despite this, Rahul Gandhi is expressing distrust in our army and our Prime Minister, and showing faith in the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is speaking Pakistan's language. Does he want Nishan-e-Pakistan award? He is being presented as a hero in Pakistan. But the people of India will reduce him to zero.

Shinde also attacked his strong political rival Uddhav Thackeray and said that Maharashtra had never seen a chameleon who could change colours more than him. He left his ideology for power and the post of Chief Minister, betrayed the ideas of Balasaheb Thackeray, betrayed the Marathi people.

This is the reason why the people of Maharashtra have limited him to just 20 seats in the recent assembly elections. Whereas our Shiv Sena has got 60 seats. Uddhav Thackeray had challenged Shinde in his speech today and said in English, if you have the courage, then come on, kill me. Shinde replied to this by saying that we do not need to kill the person whom the people of the state have already killed in the recent assembly elections.
