Vice President Radhakrishnan shared a handshake and smile with Jagdeep Dhankhar, marking his first public appearance in 53 days.
CP Radhakrishnan took oath as the 15th Vice President of the country on Thursday. President Draupadi Murmu administered him the oath of office and secrecy. Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was also present on this occasion, who appeared in public for the first time after his resignation. Many dignitaries including Venkaiah Naidu, Hamid Ansari, Chief Ministers of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh attended the swearing-in ceremony.

In fact, this was the first time after resigning on July 21, when Jagdeep Dhankhar was seen in public. Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Hamid Ansari also attended the event along with Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Dhankhar seen for the first time after resignation

This was the first time after the resignation, when Dhankhar was seen in a public place. Dhankhar was not seen anywhere after the resignation, after which many questions were raised by the opposition. The opposition constantly questioned where Dhankhar is and what is his condition. After Dhankhar came forward, the speculations have been put to rest.
Jagdeep Dhankhar had reached there as a guest during the swearing-in ceremony of CP Radhakrishnan. During this, he was seen sitting next to former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Hamid Ansari. Many big leaders including Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav were present in this swearing-in ceremony. Many big leaders including PM Modi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah attended this ceremony.
CP Radhakrishnan was the Governor of Maharashtra
Let us tell you that before becoming the Vice President, CP Radhakrishnan was serving as the Governor of Maharashtra. Radhakrishnan was made the Vice Presidential candidate by the NDA. In the elections held on 9 September, he got a total of 452 votes. At the same time, the opposition candidate B Sudarshan Reddy got a total of 300 votes. Now the additional charge of the Governor of Maharashtra has been given to Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat.
