Kejriwal Slams ED Action on Saurabh Bhardwaj

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal alleged that AAP is being deliberately targeted after ED action against party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj.

The political turmoil has intensified due to the raid by Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the house of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and former minister Saurabh Bharadwaj in Delhi. Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reacted strongly to this raid conducted as part of the investigation of the alleged hospital scam. Atishi, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak said that at the time when the case is being reported, Saurabh Bhardwaj was not even a minister. He alleged that all the cases made against AAP leaders are politically motivated and fake.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has described the ED raid at the house of Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi state president Saurabh Bhardwaj as a case of misuse of agencies by the Modi government. Kejriwal said, "ED raid at Saurabh Bhardwaj's house is another case of misuse of agencies by Modi government. Modi government is after Aam Aadmi Party. The way AAP is being targeted, this has never happened with any party in history." He further said that AAP is being targeted because AAP is the most vocal voice against the wrong policies and corrupt deeds of Modi government. "Modi government wants to suppress our voice. But this will never happen. AAP is not going to be afraid of these raids of BJP. We will continue to raise our voice against wrong policies and corruption in the interest of the country as always."

What did BJP say on ED raid at Saurabh Bhardwaj's house?

At the same time, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva attacked Aam Aadmi Party. He alleged that "Raids have been conducted on Aam Aadmi Party's state president and former health minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, who is included in the group of corrupt people, in the case of medical scam." Sachdeva said that huge irregularities were committed in the construction of hospitals, purchase of medicines and equipment. He alleged that Arvind Kejriwal and his government have looted Delhi and are now misleading the people of other states as well. BJP says that the facts that will come out from the ED action will prove to what extent scams were committed in the health sector.
