Mayawati Slams Bihar Job Announcement

Reacting to Bihar’s job promise, BSP chief Mayawati criticized the government, calling the announcement hollow and comparing it to the unfulfilled ‘achche din’ slogan.

Assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar after a few months. Before the elections, the Nitish government has made many big announcements. Meanwhile, yesterday the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar made a big announcement and announced jobs for one crore youth in Bihar. Due to which the political temperature has risen. Here, outside Bihar also a political ruckus has arisen on this.

In fact, BSP supremo Mayawati has attacked the NDA alliance. Posting on X, she said- “Amidst the national discussions on the poor state of law and order in Bihar, possibly to divert the attention of the people, the announcement made by the Chief Minister of the NDA coalition government in the state, Shri Nitish Kumar, to provide jobs and employment to one crore people in the next five years after the formation of the government after the elections, in fact, based on the experiences of the people, far from reality, seems more like a jumlabaazi and election deception like 'achhe din'.

The public knows their tricks, character and face
Mayawati said that “Although the public is well aware of the election promises, claims, announcements and deceptions of various political parties, as well as their tricks, character and face regarding law and order and activities, yet these opposition parties, forced by their habit of deceit and politics of deception, are not afraid or nervous at all in making many such populist promises before the elections.”

The promise of jobs does not match their promises
The BSP chief further said- “In the same sequence, the promise of jobs and employment of the current coalition government of Bihar matches more than their other promises, which the public actually knows on the basis of their experience so far. Certainly, the people of Bihar will choose a pro-poor and pro-people government after careful consideration, provided that the election is completely free and fair, free from muscle power, money power and misuse of government machinery and all the poor, laborers and other hardworking people get a fair opportunity to vote. The Election Commission will definitely take full care of this.
