Mayawati Slams BJP-Congress Over OBC Issue

BSP chief Mayawati has launched a scathing attack on the politics being done by BJP and Congress over the OBC class. Mayawati has made serious allegations against both the parties and called them two sides of the same coin. Mayawati has targeted BJP-Congress by posting on social media X.

Mayawati wrote on X, the admission by the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha that the Congress party has not been true and trustworthy in matters of political and economic hopes, aspirations and reservation and getting constitutional rights for the people of the country's huge Other Backward Classes (OBC) community is not a new thing, rather it seems more like selfish politics of saying something else in the heart and something else on the tongue.

Mayawati further said that in fact her statement is well known as the Congress party has always had such a sad and unfortunate attitude towards the crores of exploited, deprived and neglected SC-ST community of the country and due to which the people of these classes have finally had to form their own party Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) here due to their self-respect and self-esteem and the desire to stand on their own feet.

Mayawati further said that as a result of this, the Congress party is continuously out of power in the major states of the country including UP and now after losing power, they have started remembering these classes, which can be called what else if not crocodile tears due to the flaws in their intentions and policies, while in the current situation, BJP's NDA also seems to have the same double-faced attitude towards these classes.

Anyway, who can forget the casteist attitude of not giving proper benefit of reservation to SC-ST classes and not honoring the architect of the Constitution, the most revered Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar with the title of Bharat Ratna and not giving the facility of reservation to OBC classes for almost 40 years after the independence of the country and not filling their posts in government jobs and keeping a huge backlog of them, etc. This unfair casteist attitude of theirs is still continuing.
