President Murmu Begins Two-Day Jharkhand Visit

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Jharkhand for a two-day visit. She was welcomed at Deoghar Airport by Governor and Minister Deepika Pandey Singh.

President Draupadi Murmu has reached Jharkhand on a two-day visit. She was welcomed by Governor Santosh Gangwar and State Government Minister Deepika Pandey Singh at Deoghar Airport.

The President will attend the convocation ceremonies of Deoghar AIIMS on Thursday and IIT (ISM), Dhanbad on Friday. The President will arrive in Ranchi this evening. She will stay overnight at the Raj Bhavan here.

The President will stay in Jharkhand for about 25 hours during her two-day visit. On August 1, i.e. Friday, she will attend the convocation ceremony of IIT located in Dhanbad. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar will also be present in both the programs.

The President will participate in the convocation ceremony at 3.10 pm and will distribute gold medals and other titles. After this, she will leave for Ranchi from Deoghar Airport at 4.30 pm. She will reach Ranchi Airport at 5.25 pm.

Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh is representing the state government. She presented a shawl to the President. During this, top officials of the state were present.

From here, she will reach Raj Bhavan by road at 5.55 pm. On Friday, the President will leave Raj Bhavan for Ranchi Airport at 9.30 am, from where she will fly to Durgapur Airport in Bengal at 10 am.

She will fly from Durgapur Airport at 11.40 am and reach Dhanbad Airport. Here the President will reach IIT campus of Dhanbad at 12 noon. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also reach to participate in the initiation program.
