Rahul Gandhi Projected as Next PM at ‘Vote Rights Yatra’

During Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Rights Yatra’, the Grand Alliance showcased unity, with Tejashwi Yadav sounding the bugle and declaring Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Ministerial face of the country.

The land of Nawada today on Tuesday (August 19) became a witness to the strength and coordination of the opposition alliance. When the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi reached Nawada via Gayaji under his 'Vote Rights Yatra', Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav was standing with him on the stage. Meanwhile, amid the slogans rising from the crowd, Tejashwi made such a statement, which intensified the political stir.

Make Rahul Gandhi the next Prime Minister of the country - Tejashwi
Tejashwi Yadav appealed to the people and said that you people should form the government of the Grand Alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and soon make Rahul Gandhi the next Prime Minister of the country. Tejashwi did not stop here. He also put the BJP and the Election Commission in the dock and alleged that the votes of the poor and marginalized people are being cut in the name of a special intensive revision campaign in Bihar. Tejashwi said that the people who were alive in the Lok Sabha were declared dead. BJP in connivance with Election Commission is snatching votes of the poor.

Tejashwi also targeted Prime Minister Modi and said that Modi Ji does not know that we are Biharis. One Bihar is more than 100. We rub lime in tobacco. We will create a new Bihar. Tejashwi will take everyone along irrespective of caste, class or religion. The crowd applauded this statement and raised slogans.

Bihar needs new thinking and new energy
Tejashwi did not spare Chief Minister Nitish Kumar either. He said that Nitish Kumar is now in an "unconscious state" and this government of twenty years is tired. Tejashwi claimed that Bihar is the youngest state and now new thinking, new energy and new politics are needed here.
