Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on the Election Commission, saying, "Election Commission is dead, its existence is over." He added, "I play with fire," intensifying his criticism over alleged electoral bias.
Rahul Gandhi is continuously giving statements against the Election Commission. He has become more aggressive after the statement of the Commission ignoring his allegations. The latest glimpse of this was seen in the 'Annual Legal Conclave' organized by the Congress Party in New Delhi. Addressing this conference, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has strongly attacked the Election Commission and the government. He said that the Election Commission is dead, its existence is over. Along with this, he also said that there was rigging in the Lok Sabha elections. If there had been no dishonesty on 15 seats, Narendra Modi would not have become the Prime Minister.
As soon as Rahul Gandhi stood up for his speech, Congress workers started sloganeering, 'How should our king be, he should be like Rahul Gandhi'. However, Rahul Gandhi interrupted the workers and said that I am not a king, I do not even want to become a king and I do not believe in the concept of a king.
After the Election Commission’s statement came out, Rahul got more angry. Addressing the conference, he said that the Election Commission is dead in the country, it does not exist anymore. I am talking about the recent election system. I had a doubt since 2014 that there is something wrong in it. I also had doubts in the Gujarat assembly elections, the trend of a landslide victory of a single party raises doubts. Whenever we spoke on the Election Commission, people used to say, where is the proof? Then something happened in Maharashtra that we won the Lok Sabha elections and then after four months we not only lost but were completely finished. Three strong parties suddenly disappeared.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Election Commission is not working the way it should, it has compromised. We have such evidence that will show the whole country that an institution like the Election Commission does not exist, it has disappeared. It took us 6 months to find this evidence. You will see how a Lok Sabha election is stolen.
Along with this, Rahul Gandhi said that my sister told me that I am playing with fire, and I said that I know I am playing with fire, I will keep playing with fire. Ultimately, like most of you, I will also get caught in the fire. My family has taught me not to be afraid of cowards. The most cowardly thing you can do is to be afraid of a coward.
