Sanjay Singh Targets Election Commission Over PM Modi’s Support

AAP MP Sanjay Singh launched a sharp attack on the Election Commission, alleging bias and claiming that its decisions are influenced because of PM Modi’s support.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh directly targeted the Election Commission of India (ECI) and said that if the commission is really impartial, it should investigate the complaints of voting irregularities in various states. Sanjay Singh alleged that 42,000 votes were cut in the New Delhi assembly constituency in Delhi, while dozens of fake votes were created in the addresses of BJP's Union ministers and MPs. He said that despite filing a complaint in this matter, the Election Commission did not take any action.

Sanjay Singh said that until the Election Commission does not seriously investigate these complaints, it will continue to be accused of promoting vote theft. Giving the example of Bihar, he said that the Commission has clearly admitted that it removed 22 lakh votes in the state because they were in the name of dead persons for the last 20 years. He raised the question that why did the names of the dead remain in the voter list for so long? He also alleged that the Election Commission is avoiding taking action in the states from where complaints of vote theft are coming. "If you think that because you have the support of Prime Minister Modi, you can do anything, then this is not right."

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has launched a major attack on the Election Commission and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He said that if the Election Commission is impartial, then it should investigate the complaints of voting irregularities in various states. Sanjay Singh alleged that the Commission's claim that no political party has complained is a "lie". He said that until these complaints are not investigated, the Commission will continue to be accused of promoting vote theft. Giving the example of Bihar, Sanjay Singh said that the Commission itself admitted that it removed the names of 22 lakh dead people from the voter list, which were registered for the last 20 years. He raised the question that why the names of these dead people remained in the list for so many years and why action is not being taken on the complaints of other states.

Sanjay Singh said that the commission deleted 65 lakh votes in Bihar between June 25 and July 25, but did not add a single new name to the voter list. He raised the question: “SIR is being done, but they did not find a single person in the entire state of Bihar who could be added to the voter list. What kind of SIR is this?” He also alleged that the figures given by the Election Commission are misleading the public and it is clear that there is large-scale manipulation and rigging in the voter list.
