Manish Tewari and Shashi Tharoor have been excluded from the discussion on Operation Sindoor.
A 16-hour discussion on Operation Sindoor has been going on in the Lok Sabha since Monday and it will end with the reply of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday, while the discussion was initiated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday. But the most surprising thing is that the names of Manish Tewari and Shashi Tharoor are not included in the list of speakers given by the Congress on this issue. Let us tell you that both the leaders had spoken in favour of the government after this attack. After which the decision to keep their names out of the list released by the party is being seen as a punishment.
Manish Tewari had sent mail to Rahul Gandhi
According to information received from sources, Manish Tewari had mailed the office of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and expressed his desire to speak in the discussion. But the list of speakers released by the Congress included the names of Gaurav Gogoi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Deependra Hooda, Bijendra S Ola, Praniti S Shinde, Saptagiri Ulaka, Tharoor and Manish Tiwari were not given a place in the list.
Both leaders were part of the all-party delegation
Both these Congress leaders were part of the all-party delegation that visited foreign countries after Operation Sindoor and they openly supported Operation Sindoor. After returning from the tour, both these leaders also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the rest of the delegation members. Although the names of both these leaders were not given by the Congress for the delegation, but the central government made these two senior leaders a part of the all-party delegation on its own.
Many MPs came out in defense of Congress
There is a ruckus within the Congress party over the discussion going on in the Parliament regarding Operation Sindoor. But party MP Pramod Tiwari said that the speakers who speak in the discussion are limited and those who speak will put forth the side of the Congress party. He said that many people have been left out from the list of speakers in the House and Manish Tiwari is also one of them. He says that there are no differences in the Congress regarding this.
