Senior Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Prakash Mahajan has put a condition before an alliance with Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Prakash Mahajan has said that if Shiv Sena (UBT) is serious about the alliance of the two parties, then its leader Aditya Thackeray should come forward and meet Raj Thackeray.
Prakash Mahajan said that a senior leader in the Shiv Sena (UBT) headed by former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should go to MNS president Raj Thackeray to discuss a possible alliance.
Prakash Mahajan said that if a junior leader is sent for talks, then Raj Thackeray will also send a junior official. Prakash Mahajan further said, 'If there is really an alliance to be made, then Aditya Thackeray should come forward and understand Raj Saheb's views. If Aditya Thackeray goes for talks, then both sides will understand the seriousness.
What did the MNS leader say?
Former Minister of State Aditya Thackeray is the son of Shiv Sena (MNS) president Uddhav Thackeray. Aditya Thackeray says that if anyone wants to come together to protect the interests of Maharashtra, then 'we will take them along too.' Prakash Mahajan said that there is no harm in this attempt to come together with the politically isolated Thackeray brothers.
He said, 'We (MNS) also tried this experiment in 2014 and 2017. If they are serious, then there is no problem in coming forward.'
'Will move forward leaving the fight'
Statements by cousins Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have fuelled political speculation, suggesting that they may overlook 'minor issues' and join hands after nearly 20 years of bitter separation.
The MNS chief has said that it is not difficult to unite for the interests of Marathi Manus (Marathi-speaking people), while Uddhav Thackeray said that he is ready to leave petty fights and move forward, provided those working against the interests of Maharashtra are not given preference.
