The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government will hold a cabinet meeting on Tuesday at 11 AM at Lok Bhawan to discuss around 20 key proposals, including infrastructure upgrades, sports reforms, disability empowerment, and the construction of a grand Ram Temple Museum in Ayodhya. The agenda was released by Acting Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar on Monday.

The cabinet is expected to approve amendments to the Uttar Pradesh International Medal Winner Direct Recruitment Rules, 2022, allowing government employees and officers participating in national and international sporting events to count their training and travel time as official duty. The government also plans to set up District Disability Rehabilitation Centres (DDRCs) at every divisional headquarters using state resources.

On the infrastructure front, proposals include the reconstruction of the damaged embankment at Abutment A1 of the Ghaghra Bridge on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway and approvals under the Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2017. Urban development projects under AMRUT-2.0 include a ₹316.78 crore pipeline extension in Kanpur Nagar Nigam and a ₹265.95 crore drinking water reorganisation scheme in Bareilly Nagar Nigam.

Housing and urban planning initiatives include cancelling inactive projects under the Integrated Township Policies of 2005 and 2014, completing active projects through amended DPRs, and transferring 45,000 sq. metres of Nazul land in Kanpur for a multi-speciality hospital.

Tourism proposals include finalising the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Tourism Service Rules 2025 and approving the Ayodhya Ram Temple Museum project. In addition, the cabinet will review agreements with the Sports Authority of India for stadium operations in Varanasi and the recognition of training periods as on-duty service for athletes.

Finance and other departmental matters on the agenda include amendments to pollution control consent fees, jail manual updates, repeal of the Uttar Pradesh Cess Sugarcane Act 1956, and road widening projects such as the Chandauli–Sakaldiha–Saidpur Road (SH-69).
