Despite the advancement of the monsoon season, Madhya Pradesh continues to face a significant rainfall deficit across large parts of the state. While isolated districts have received spells of heavy showers, widespread and sustained rainfall has remained elusive, leaving the state around 15% below its normal rainfall for this time of the season.
