"Shashi Tharoor Slams Trump Over Ceasefire Credit Claim"

In a sharp critique, Shashi Tharoor condemned former US President Donald Trump for attempting to take credit for the ceasefire. Tharoor called the move "condemnable" and questioned its legitimacy.

New Delhi. Giving information about the agreement to stop the India-Pakistan fight was an attempt by US President Donald Trump to take credit. This attempt by the US President is condemnable. This has been said by senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor.

Shashi Tharoor said that this was an unnecessary comment by the American leader on the matter of South Asian countries. Tharoor said, Trump's posts on the Internet media regarding the ceasefire between India and Pakistan are not worth liking. In these, he has tried to weigh India and Pakistan on the same scale in a wrong way, this is shocking.

India is a victim of terrorist incidents and Pakistan is a country that nourishes terrorism. The whole world knows the truth that Pakistan promotes terrorism. The leaders there also accept this truth. Despite this, Trump made such posts.

Tharoor said, like a normal political leader, Trump has also tried to take credit for the entire incident, whereas in fact, the Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan had called his Indian counterpart at 3.35 pm on Saturday and requested a ceasefire.

After this, after a brief discussion, India accepted this request of Pakistan. India did this because India did not want a long war. India only wanted to send a message to Pakistan in the matter of terrorism.
