‘Modi Teri Kabar Khudegi’ Slogan Sparks Political Firestorm

The Congress party’s ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ rally held at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday has sparked a major political row after a video surfaced showing party workers shouting “Modi teri kabar khudegi” slogans while marching toward the venue.

The rally, led by Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, was organized to protest alleged “vote theft” by the BJP and the Election Commission. However, the controversial sloganeering overshadowed the event, drawing sharp reactions from BJP leaders.

BJP Slams Congress, Compares Rahul to Aurangzeb

Reacting strongly, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said the slogan exposed the “true face” of the Congress. “The party that talks about digging Modi’s grave will itself be buried. This reflects their Mughal and Maoist mindset,” he said. Trivedi further claimed Rahul Gandhi is leading Congress into decline just like Aurangzeb led the Mughal Empire to its fall.

He drew a historical comparison, saying six generations of the Nehru-Gandhi family have ruled Congress—Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and now Rahul Gandhi—similar to six Mughal rulers before the empire’s collapse. “Rahul Gandhi is the sixth generation, and under him, Congress will meet the same fate as the Mughals,” Trivedi remarked.

Congress Leader Behind Slogan Reacts

The woman identified in the viral video as raising the controversial slogan is Jaipur Women’s Congress president Manju Lata Meena. Defending herself, Meena said her outburst reflected public anger over alleged manipulation in elections. “There is frustration among people because the BJP forms governments by stealing votes, while the Election Commission acts on their instructions,” she claimed.

Rahul Gandhi, addressing a massive crowd, reiterated his charge that the BJP and the Election Commission are working hand-in-hand. “Modi ji’s confidence is finished. Amit Shah’s hands are trembling because their theft stands exposed,” he said. He also accused the Modi government of changing laws to appoint “biased” Election Commissioners, vowing to reverse these changes once in power.

Kharge and Priyanka Launch Emotional Attacks

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge spoke about personal sacrifice, revealing that he stayed at the rally despite his son’s surgery. “The country comes before my family. We must not back down from this fight,” he declared.

Priyanka Gandhi added that Prime Minister Modi focuses on global image-building rather than citizens’ suffering. “They need the Election Commission to win elections now. What Congress built over decades, BJP has destroyed,” she said.

The controversy around the “Modi teri kabar khudegi” slogan has added fuel to the ongoing BJP-Congress battle ahead of upcoming elections, indicating that political temperatures will remain high in the coming weeks.
